Junior Beginners (Age 5 - 16) 6.15pm to 7.15pm
Junior Intermediate (Age 7 - 16) 7.15pm to 8.30pm

Dave is the founder of the club and head coach. His own personal Judo career is somewhat distinguished with most of his success seen as junior. Dave has fought for England several times, and won several prestigious tournaments. Having taken a break from competitive Judo, Dave returned to the sport in his late twenties on more of a recreational level. However he did find time to win the World Masters Championships at -73KG back in 2002! Dave is a real Judo technician, and combined with his wealth of competition experience, he is more than the man for the job! Dave also works full time for the University as Judo Development Officer.

Wayne is Dave's number two. Like Dave, Wayne has a wealth of competition experience, having fought the competition circuit for many years. At one time Wayne was also fighting on the British senior squad. Nowadays Wayne is concentrating on the Masters circuit, having recently won the British masters at -81KG. Wayne is more the motivator type, which combined with Dave's technical precision makes them the perfect coaching partnership for the club!

Chris is new to the coaching team. Chris is still in the prime of his own Judo career. He recently progressed to the senior competition scene following success as a junior.
